My Teaching Style
My yoga teaching style centers strongly around connection: connecting movement and breath; connecting into what our bodies are telling us; connecting to community; connecting with something greater than ourselves. My goal for each class is that you learn something on your mat that you can take with you and integrate into the rest of your life, whether that is learning how our bodies communicate with us, learning to be a mindful observer of your thoughts, or learning breathing techniques that you can use in moments of stress or anxiety.
In each of my classes, I channel my creativity into movement and sequencing on the mat so that no two classes are the same, and I provide a unique theme for each class to guide your practice. Whether you're new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, my classes are designed to challenge you physically and mentally and challenge your self limitations, while providing variations to ensure that every level of ability is supported.
I sincerely love this practice. I have a passion for studying the different aspects of yoga and a deep desire to share everything I learn with my students. I believe there is joy and peace within each of us, and that yoga is a beautiful path to find our way back to that place.
Join me on the mat and let's explore the transformative power of yoga together.
